Origen and LEC return tonight

📅 Keep up to speed with Origen's LEC schedule in the Origen calender

Tonight, fans are reunited with the teams competing in the LEC as the league continues where it left off with Week 8, all online. Not much has changed in the standings where Origen occupies 2nd place alongside Fnatic, both with 10 wins and 4 losses.

But that is subject to change tonight as all 10 teams play two matches each this weekend and the difference between 1st and 2nd is narrow.

Martin 'Deficio' Lynge, General Manager, Origen:

- Since the LEC got put on hold, we’ve been eager to get back in the action. We are thankful for Riot and LEC’s ability to resolve the situation swiftly in a way that complies with the guidelines put up by international health authorities

- Aside from the teams playing online instead of in the studio, the schedule for the LEC Spring Finals has been moved up two weeks but other than that, the format of the league remains the same.

- Tonight, fans will see us compete against Team Vitality and tomorrow SK Gaming. We know all the other teams are as excited as we are to play again and will play their best exactly as they would under normal circumstances.

"We are thankful for Riot and LEC’s ability to resolve the situation swiftly," - Martin 'Deficio' Lynge.
