As the only organization, Astralis Group is represented twice in Forbes' annual '30 under 30' list. The list highlights young stars, entrepreneurs, and influencers in 30 selected industries.
The first one is Enrique 'xPeke' Cedeño (27), founder of Origen who is currently competing at the top of the professional League of Legends in the LEC. He has a personal social media following of 1,2 million followers. Enrique holds a legendary reputation from his own days as a professional player as well and is a former League of Legends World Champion.
Second is Nicolai 'dev1ce' Reedtz, a part of the original core of the Astralis Counter-Strike team. Nicolai holds the world record for most MVP awards in professional Counter-Strike tournaments. Despite his record, Nicolai is a humble man and his positive attitude and healthy lifestyle have made him a role model for young gamers and with 750,000 followers across his social he channels one of Astralis Group's most popular players.
Nicolai 'device' Reedtz is a regular at the gym and has changed a lot of young gamers' minds about lifestyle in relation to in-game performance.
- It's always a huge honor to receive this kind of attention. Forbes is a long way from esports so to be mentioned among just 30 other people globally is a bit surreal but very exciting.
- I spend a lot of my time showing everyone how I live, work out, and take care of myself. I'm not doing it to be a role model but it's part of the game when you're playing for Astralis and I'm very aware of the responsibility that comes with it.
- Not one person in our team is trying to be better than the other members or be "the star" in any way. We work with each other and make room so that everyone can contribute. The strength of Astralis comes from the fact that we can shine in our own ways and it is an integrated part of the culture in the entire organization.
- When one person makes this list, it's the result of the entire team and organization working every day to give us the best possible conditions.
