Origen's digital weekend

This weekend was a bit out of the ordinary. The state of the world means we, and everyone else, have to adapt. Origen has not been to Berlin this weekend for their LEC matches.

With the organization not gathered at the office in day to day operations these days, it's important to utilize the advantage of being a largely digital company. For Origen, it meant live streams and In-House matches for the fans to watch instead.

Enrique 'xPeke' Cedeño, Founder, Origen

- I think we managed to get a pretty entertaining weekend going despite not being in Berlin. Everyone from the team chipped in to make it a fun night for the fans at home.

- Elias, Mitchell, and André all delivered fun and educational streams but I think Barney is the winner in terms of entertainment, forgetting to turn on his gameplay footage and commentating on a match no one but him could see.

- Martin (Deficio) arranged for In-House matches with teams that were mixed with different professional players and drew a lot of attention over on Twitch. With the help of the official LEC talent casting the match, I think this whole weekend was a great comfort for all the players and fans who were longing for some League of Legends action.

- We know LEC is working hard to find a solution so we can get back to the real deal very soon. In the meantime, it is comforting to know that we can find alternative ways of entertaining and engaging with our fans all over the world.

- Thanks to all of you who made this weekend a lot easier to get through!
