On Tuesday, Astralis' In-Game Leader, Lukas 'gla1ve' Rossander, talked about how the team was standing with their backs against the wall in Stage 2 of Pro League. Astralis lost their two opening games against NAVI and Fnatic and went 0-2. But in the face of frightening odds, the team pulled it back with three consecutive wins against FaZe, OG, and Mousesports. The latter brought us to the semifinal, ranked #2 of all six teams in Stage 2.

Astralis beat Mousesports in a dominant 2-0 series:

  • 16-3: Inferno (Astralis' pick)
  • 16-1: Dust2 (Mousesport's pick).

This means that Astralis is through to the semifinals of Pro League as the second-best team where they will meet Mousesports once again as they are still the third-best team of Stage 2.

Danny 'zonic' Sørensen, Head Coach, Astralis:

- It was quite a game against Mousesports. We had prepared a bunch of stuff that they obviously weren't ready for. That resulted in a pretty one-sided match where we basically did whatever we wanted to.

- This entire time, we've been saying that our goal is to win Pro League. We stuck to that goal even when it looked really bad for us. Everything can happen now. There are only good teams left and we will still have to bring our best game on Saturday for the semifinal. And we will.

The semifinal takes place on April 11. Keep an eye on our website and socials for updates regarding schedule or check back on the Astralis Calendar
