March 16, 2020

ESL Pro League XI starts tonight, March 16, and Astralis will once again be back on your screens.

The league schedule and format has been adjusted to meet the requirements of new travel restrictions and official government initiatives. ESL Pro League XI will be played entirely online with hosts, analysts, and casters guiding you through the action from ESL's studios in Cologne.

Astralis will play a best-of-three against Ninjas in Pyjamas in their opening match.

Danny 'Sørensen' Zonic, Head Coach, Astralis

- We were supposed to be in Malta right now. Instead, we're playing home. But we believe ESL has made the right calls and we hope everyone will support them and esports in general by tuning in online to watch the games. We'd rather be in an arena with all of you and we know the feeling is mutual. But we're determined to get as close and personal with you guys as possible online.

- We are constantly looking at ways to improve and there will be a few new things from us tonight that will hopefully surprise NiP. I think the more hardcore fans will be able to see a development in our game style. That being said, it is an online tournament and all the teams might need to play a few matches before settling into their respective styles and set-ups.

- There are a lot of other great match-ups tonight and, again, no matter what team you support we hope to see your passion online for Counter-Strike, ESL, and all the teams!
